- Inrush VA
- ≈ 120 VA
- Sealed (holding) VA

Typical measured coil resistance (±15%, ballpark)
24 VAC≈ 4–10 Ω
100/110 VAC≈ 90–200 Ω
200/220 VAC≈ 400–800 Ω
400/440 VAC≈ 1,600–3,100 Ω
OL = open coil · near zero = shorted turns · coil-to-frame must read >1 MΩ.
Coil resistance checker
Pick the coil voltage, enter your meter reading across A1–A2 (coil disconnected), and compare it to the expected ballpark.
Ω
This model (24 VAC table value)4 Ω–10 Ω
Generic mid-frame 24 VAC4 Ω–9 Ω
OL = open coil. 0–2 Ω = shorted turns (often from a cooked transformer). Ballpark only (±15%+); electronic wide-range coils (e.g. ABB AF) read misleading values — test those at rated voltage instead. Always measure coil-to-frame too: must be >1 MΩ.
Terminals & accessories
Power/coil terminals: Box lug / finger-protection terminals; DIN or screw mount
Auxiliary contacts: Built-in aux per suffix; SZ-A series add-on blocks
Companion overload: TR-E / TK-E thermal overload relay direct-mount

Field notes
- Japanese machines commonly use 200 V coils on 208/230 V control — a 200 V coil on 240 V runs hot and shortens life.
- TR-E overload dials are in amps at 50/60 Hz; verify frequency-derating before setting on 60 Hz service.
- SC-E and older SC-N accessories are not interchangeable; confirm the series before ordering aux blocks.
