How it works
Sigma Control energises Y1 to pressurise the inlet valve control chamber and simultaneously close the venting path. On unload Y1 drops and the sump vents through the venting valve down to about 2 bar residual.

Typical values for the stated wattage class. Always compare against the coil tag. Open circuit = burnt winding; near 0 Ω = shorted turns.

Field test procedure
- Sigma Control: I/O test screen forces the Y1 output — the cleanest way to separate a controller fault from a coil fault.
- Ohm the coil against the tag wattage; replace coil only.
Symptoms & probable causes
- Machine cycles rapidly load/unloadPressure band too narrow or the venting valve leaks back into the sump.
