OL = open coil. 0–2 Ω = shorted turns (often from a cooked transformer). Ballpark only (±15%+); electronic wide-range coils (e.g. ABB AF) read misleading values — test those at rated voltage instead. Always measure coil-to-frame too: must be >1 MΩ.

  • CWM → CWB migration is nearly bolt-on for 9–25 A: same footprint concept but confirm aux-contact arrangement — CWB carries it on the front face, CWM on the side.
  • The '-11' suffix means one NO + one NC built in; '-10' is NO only. A missing interlock signal is often a misread suffix, not a failed contact.
  • WEG coils are dual-frequency 50/60 Hz on most codes — one coil stock covers both grids.
