Low airflow across evaporator

CheckDirty filter, closed registers, blower wheel buildup, collapsed flex duct.
FixReplace filter, open returns, clean blower wheel, reseal/replace damaged duct.

Low refrigerant charge

CheckSuction pressure well below saturation for outdoor temp; high superheat.
FixFind leak, repair, evacuate, weigh in correct charge.
SafetyEPA 608 required.

Failed blower motor or capacitor

CheckBlower runs slow or not at all. Test cap, motor windings.
FixReplace capacitor first; ECM/PSC motor if windings open or bearings dragging.
Safety

Pull the disconnect and lock out before opening HVAC equipment. Discharge dual-run capacitors before handling. Refrigerant recovery and brazing require EPA 608 certification and proper PPE.
