medCheckMeasure pressure at the discharge, after treatment, at the header end and at the tool. Target under 10% total loss.
FixUpsize the main, loop the header, and remove unnecessary bends and quick-couplers.

Plugged filter elements
medCheckRead filter ΔP gauges: replace coalescing elements above 5 PSI, particulate above OEM limit.
FixReplace elements and log the date; set a calendar interval rather than waiting for the gauge.

Restrictive dryer or partially closed isolation valve
medCheckMeasure ΔP across the dryer and check every isolation valve is fully open (ball valve handle in line).
FixOpen valves fully; service or upsize the dryer if ΔP exceeds the OEM figure.

Undersized hose and couplers at the tool
lowCheckMeasure pressure at the tool inlet while it runs. Cheap 1/4" couplers can lose 10–15 PSI alone.
FixFit high-flow couplers and a shorter, larger-bore hose.
